Implementing various air quality solutions is significantly changing the eco-system.


FREMONT, CA: City life has always fascinated people owing to the facilities it provides to its residents. Luxurious, comfortable, and facilitated with all kinds of amenities, cities are the best place for upgrading and improving living standards. But the rising population and pollution levels have brought a vital question to the quality of living.


 Is living life restricted to only enjoying luxuries and comfort? Or do we seek for better environment and breathe fresh and pure air. The increasing carbon emission for various reasons has polluted our surrounding atmosphere to an extent where human life has been subjected to toxic breathing. But nations worldwide are highly involved in creating and developing methods to reduce the carbon footprint for a clean eco-system.


There are several reasons for poor air quality in cities. City authorities across all nations are utilizing cutting-edge technological solutions to deal with this problem effectively. A few solutions which various nations have adopted are given below.


Electric vehicles (EVs): The fast-moving world has made the usage of vehicles for every household. But the vehicles running on fossil fuels are causing immense environmental damage. Fossil fuel emerges high volume of carbon into the atmosphere, increasing global warming. Electric vehicles are a better option when compared to CO2 combustion. The electric vehicle market is assumed to rise in the upcoming years owing to its easy usage and cost-effectiveness.


Vehicles designed for hydrogen fuel: Research on hydrogen gas has proved that it does not emit harmful CO2 gas into the atmosphere. Therefore, scientists worldwide are busy developing vehicle motors powered by hydrogen gas. Hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles are safe, efficient, and free of harmful emissions. The use of hydrogen-powered vehicles will give a clean environment.


Personalized HVAC system: Urban homes are equally subjected to bad air quality due to contaminants in the atmospheric air. Hoses are therefore advised to get their customized HVAC system for breathing quality air in their daily lives.


Construction sites filtration machines: Urban cities go through continuous construction in every locality. Research shows that construction sites are another major cause of increasing air pollution due to the use of various construction machines and materials, which add dust particles and harmful pollutants to the air. Present-day construction machines are available with a filtration unit that gives fresh, breathable quality air to the construction workers and the surrounding people.


Air quality sensors: Smart cities have started deploying air sensors to check the pollutant levels in the air and detect the type of pollutant present. These emerging air sensors are helping the city residents on deciding their daily activities outside their homes.


The various sustainable measures to control air pollution and improve air quality are sure to provide a better living place for the city dwellers.
